Petz, Nice post. I would only note that this overclocking data point is encouraging: Message 20563642. 2) the fact that they chose to produce notebook chips first rather than an Opteron 252. I don't think this is as big an issue. If 90nm has decent power characteristics, then it makes sense to attack the notebook segment. The 'undervolting' noted in the referenced post above is encouraging in that regard. As THEWATSONYOUTH and others pointed out, the mobile segment is the final Intel nut to crack, and it's unlikely AMD will get another opportunity this favorable anytime soon. Regards, eCo
