So what are the facts? The fact is that Saddam never got any yellowcake from Africa. If so we would have found that by now.

Did Saddam merely inquire about getting yellow cake? I suppose that is possible, but I have seen no evidence todate that any such inquiry took place.

What does "sought" mean anyway? That he placed an order? That he asked gee guys, can you sneak me some yellow cake?

The facts still remain, no yellow cake, no WMD, no ties to Al Qaeda (before we attacked...they've been streaming in ever since, but so have kids from Kuwait.)

Basically the war in Iraq was not a step in the right direction in the war on terror. It's a fantasy to say that since we removed Saddam that the US is safer from terrorists. Saddam was contained...and in turn he kept Iraq safe from Al Qaeda.

Our priorities should have been Afghanistan and keeping an eye on Iran.
