Despite the public perception that the media is overwhelmingly liberal, the fact is that over the past 7 decades newspapers have endorsed Republicans for President 70% of the time. The So Called Liberal Media (SCLM). But, does it really matter? Only slightly. It seems like American imperialism continues under both Ds and Rs. The most important thing to our "leaders" is to constantly remind the world who is in charge (via military action), and to not allow a rival power emerge that might challenge American economic dominance. Did Clinton really have to take us to war over strategicly irrelevant countries like Bosnia or Kosovo? Perhaps on humanitarian grounds, but that hardly seems to have been the U.S.'s concern in many instances in recent decades. Clinton acted as a puppet for American hemogeny by taking us to war in their backyard, and letting the Europeans know we are in charge.

P.S. I like the new site. It's nice to get rid of the original post, so I don't have to scroll as much.
