Any person who is believed to have significant ties to or is thought to be supporting terrorism should be denied entry to the country without further debate. Cause for immediate deportation.

Perhaps there should be some appeal procedure so a person who is so denied can present their case, and for all I know, there is.

But it is fundamentally stupid to allow someone to enter the country whom we have reason to suspect.

Personally, I believe that Stevens has no such ties. But it isn't my call and I don't have all the information. If Homeland Security says, "We have information we believe is credible that says Stevens has contributed to charities which ultimately support terrorism (even if in the tiniest of ways)", then that's plenty good enough for me.

It is sickening to hear the left criticizing Bush about Homeland Security, then criticize, out of total ignorance, their actions.
