I really don't. But the assertion is a blatant lie.

I suppose you would argue that the war in Iraq was done with political motivation, in spite of the fact that Bush had to fight every step of the way, it has been extremely unpopular at times, and frankly, is hurting him now.

When he's campaigning, it is about politics. But when he's running the country, there is little doubt politics are the LAST consideration. One of the reasons Bush will be re-elected (in a relative landslide) is that the people realize he doesn't allow politics to drive his decisions.

You can't point to one significant decision that was evidently driven by political considerations. Go for it. Even the bad decisions (Farm Bill, Education Bill) had more to do with trying to "get along" with the Left than they did trying to gain political advantage with the voters.
