To Grupo & Raleigh: Questions re FTEL's hardware. Do you know
whose voice chips (CTI) chips, and hardware boards FTEL is using? Would it not be the case
that in order to set up voice over internet both end points obviously
need the voice equiped boards , but are these proprietary to FTEL
so folks or businesses could only use FTEL equipment on both
ends? Or if it is just the isp's that are putting in the equipment, do isp's at
both ends need to have similarly equipped boards? RE: voice server, same questions
about the chip sets? Who makes them? Is there a play here
as everyone and his brother among LDC's and ISP's is trying
to get into the CTI play. George
