September 24, 2004 Helping to prepare Kerry for the presidential debates is long-time lib lawyer Gregory Craig. Craig was instrumental in sending little Elian Gonzalez back to Castro's national prison. And now he's helping Kerry, which tells us at least as much about Kerry as it does Craig. Watching the networks today, I was struck by the new optimism for Kerry. According to the talking heads, he's re-energized, he's engaged, he's focused, he's taking the battle to Bush, he's ready to bring it on, he's. . . zzzzzz.
