I spoke with the folks at E-data not too long ago. They are not offering sweetheart deals just so that defendants will settle. I am told this was the case with IBM as well. As to prior art.... Even if some of the claims are deemed to be "prior art", there is no way all the claims will be considered "prior art". Depending on how many of e-data claims are deemed to be valid, this stock could be worth anywhere from $1 to $100+. So it is now at $3.... what is the upside and what is the downside?
