Greg, my thoughts? Now that is looking for trouble! Okay, you talked me into it. Good points on tourists. There are a lot of them these days. But I think they'd leave their phone on so that loved ones could call them to apologize for crashing the car and ask the globe-trotting parents to send cash.

GSM type international roaming is a pain in the neck. Much better to have one worldwide number and account. No mucking about. Grab phone and leave. Don't forget to get the right plug for recharging in foreign countries who always like to have a different power outlet and voltage.

Yes, airlines might give away a phone if two people book a certain amount of travel.

Larry, yes, there is a small management fee to Loral. Nearly all the costs are in the construction phase. Operating costs are only a hundred million or two per year. The marginal cost of another subscriber is near zero. The marginal cost of another whole constellation is not too bad!

Ramsey, we don't have shrinks in New Zealand. We don't need them when our shares keep rising like Globalstar. Anyway, if we feel disturbed, there is always the keyboard for expression and sheep-counting to induce a somnolent state of zen-like peace. Spring is arriving. Again! Already! Hmmm! A year travels very fast. [I wonder where we are going so quickly.]

I didn't think you were entirely convinced by my exposition on the future of humanity in general, the stock market and Globalstar in particular. Okay, suit yourself. I'll just sit here and watch Globalstar fly.

Pass the Dom Perignon! Sherry indeed.

Oh yes, and cloning of humans is a great idea too. Thinking of Dolly. If you get a defective kidney, just check out the price for a replacement from the latest road kill or volunteer. Need a new cornea. No worries. Leukaemia, blood transfusion, new teeth or finger? Just check out the deep freeze. No more tissue typing or hunting all round the world for parts which get rejected. Why throw the DNA dice when you can clone and get a good quality baby first go?

Of course there are religious cranks and Luddites who will fear the evil ramifications of messing with nature. As if Globalstar isn't doing just that! Not to mention everything else people do from eating pancakes to living in a house.
