Here is the clearest indication of the relative worth of The Guild's WCDMA IPR: They traded all of it to Q for the right to pay Q the same rate on WCDMA as IS-95 CDMA.

Also, for good measure, the companies had to throw in their GSM IPR as well. Think about it. All their WCDMA IPR AND all their GSM IPR was coughed up so they could pay Q the same royalty rate on 3G!

Yet there are still people wondering why none of the Guild are collecting royalties from Q. That was some brainwashing pulled off by the Guild...that still has its after-effects today. The nokiaphiles are still under the spell.

It's funny how the Guild seems to be moving on, while some of its believers are still wringing their hands, kibitzing on Q threads, and trying to spin history to cover the rediculous claims made by the hagfish over the years.
