Brooke,

Think of CCI as a "momentum" indiator of sorts, one that is measuring the "strength" of the trend. It is also one of the first indicators to signal a possible change in trend (CIT). Here, CCI is telling us that VTEL's price acceleration is too steep to be continued at present pace and is suggesting that current price acceleration will slow or possibly reverse.

The nearly vertical rise in CCI during the initial stage of a move is extremely positive and is an early indication of its power. This indication of "power" is fortified by the exceptionally heavy volume that has occurred over the past four days. Getting busy signals on TC2000 tonight so don't have today's data but appears first support will be 6.75ish. Take a look at the similarilities between VTEL and LCOS during its recent runup.

SYKE is testing resistance now but looks strong enough to penatrate. Good volume today and CCI/Macd and BNS indicators strong.

Good trading,
Bill
