Where do you live that it is not an option to have liability insurance on your car? Most states will not issue a vehicle license--all states as far as I know--without insurance. Yo me your argument sounds like arguing for saving money by not getting vaccinated against preventable diseases. Actually I grew up with a family whose patriarch considered dentistry a waste of money unless your tooth hurt. Their teeth were in pretty sorry shape.
