For almost a year now, MRV IR console servers have been key components on SUN grid computing systems that are "Solaris ready". MRV is also an IBM business partner.. developer.ibm.com Early this month, IBM announced www-1.ibm.com See also>> www-1.ibm.com The relevance of this to MRV becomes clearer when you also note this reference on p 54.. www-1.ibm.com p54 For CSM V1.4 hardware control to function properly, the following hardware and hardware specifications are required: - One RSA PCI adapter for every 24 nodes - Optionally, if a terminal server is desired, one or more of the following terminal servers for remote console support is required: -- Cyclades AlterPath ACS48 -- Avocent CPS1600 -- Computone IntelliServer RCM8, RCM24, or RCM48 -- Equinox ELS-16 II -- MRV iTouch IR-8020, IR-8040, LX-4016, LX-4008, or LX-4032 Other major equipment makers who are working with MRV IR/LX equipment are Motorola, Lucent, Nortel and customers include Cox.
