I would attribute bravery to Kerry if he admitted
his liberal leanings and stopped pretending to
be Everyman.

It would take bravery to run as what he is,
but I suspect that he doesn't believe the
citizenry wants a recycled 60's war protester
(with a virtual theme song of Blowin' in the Wind),
whose voting record is dovish and otherwise
unremarkable, and whose ideas (to the extent they exist)
are more akin to Marx than Reagan or even Clinton.
