There is something you can do. There is something every concerned American voter can do, that is specific, realistic, and helpful to the democratic process. Those who are frustrated and concerned about the direction the country is going, can do something besides gripe and be angry:
Go to the county website of your party, and sign up to drive folks to the polls on election day. Many of the elderly and poor are registered, but do not have a way to get to the polls, which may be inconveniently located for them. The majority of elderly and poor in this country do not have ready access to mass transit.
Take the day off from work, and drive Grandma to the polls on election day. True public service. Ahem.. especially in Florida.
