the point was, you only posted a piece of what Powell said, and taken in context, ANY normal person could have said the same thing. The insurgents are surely going to be more active right up to the elections. I mean, look at Kerry..isn't HE more active right now??? No, I do not believe the insurgents will quit after the elections are held, I think they will change gears and try to kill those elected, and then i think they will slow the attacks as time goes on and as they are killed. BUT, there are how many deaths by alcohol every day right here in the USA....wanna compare that to the deaths in Iraq on a given day? the news sensationalizes everything, you know.
