Thanks for your input.

This part was interesting, "On a regional basis, sales of new homes rose in the Northeast (+6.1%), South (+12.6%), and West (+19.5%) but dropped 8.3% in the West." I assume that first "West" was a typo.

Inventory up, price down tells much more than the 9% pop.

I'm a chicken short, and the home builders have tested the mettle of shorts all year, but I am going to short em all at some point. I might miss the first wave down, but I think it could be a long ride over the next couple of years.
