If Kerry had any leadership qualities, he would have accomplishments as a Senator to tout during this election.
But he doesn't.
That's why he had to rely on his limited military experience.
Kerry just went to sleep and enjoyed the good life every time he was elected. His Senate career is lackluster, except to the extent he helped out his cousin by steamrolling over the POW/MIA issue and any survivors.
Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute you spam the latest re-iteration of Kerry and his so-called ideas, which are all over the board.
The only consistency in those "ideas" is the notion that Kerry has some magical formula for persuasion and utter brilliance whereby he would have made all the right choices with Iraq and will turn the heads of the world so that everyone will have a love fest and be cooperative.
Sorry, but that dog don't hunt.
If Kerry had any ability, he would have shone in the Senate. He did not. He's an empty suit. Not only that, he lacks the charisma which would be necessary to be as persuasive with the "world" as he claims to be.
One trait he's flush with, however, is arrogance. That's why he can send his sister to Australia to insult that U.S. ally, refer to other members of our coalition in derogatory terms, and insult the Prime Minister of Iraq.
It's the same arrogance and self-serving attitude that lead him to denigrate our military forces still in harms way, which facilitated torture of our POWs.
The same arrogance which suggested that there would be few casualties upon our withdrawal from Vietnam, whereas hundreds of thousands of South Vietnamese were killed or sent to camps.
Sure Bush has made mistakes.
But I wouldn't want to see Kerry elected dogcatcher. |
