This is the same old tired song. First you want proof that Saddam really was such a bad guy, that he really killed in large numbers....

All I asked about was what you said about 2002. For some reason you had to go off on to his history. I've said on several occasions that Saddam can and should be tried for war crimes and/or crimes against humanity. I just happen to think that Bush Sr., Rummy, and Cheney should be co-defendents.

Same old song. The left can only condemn murderous tyrants these days as long as the US supports them - and then, only to oppose the US. If the US stops supporting the tyrants, why, then they find something to support about the same tyrants, since the only consistent rule is, the US is always wrong. If the US opposes theocratic fascists, then theocratic fascism must be admirable.

The victims of fascism can go hang themselves, as far as the left is concerned. How shrivelled and parochial can an outlook get?


It looks like we'll wait ~15 years and then the conservatives will miraculously discover the mass graves in Chechnya.
