I think Kerry supporters are giving up .....

.......... I think it's absolutely amazing how Kerry wasted his opportunity to present himself as a leader.

When he said he would have given Bush the authority to invade Iraq even had he known then that there were no weapons of mass destruction, I was speechless.

When he allowed the media to give the SwiftBoatVets a platform, I was baffled.

When he went windsurfing, I was bemused.

Now I'm stunned at the way such a golden opportunity to replace Bush has been lost.

I remember during the campaign a year ago thinking the war in Iraq was such a death dance and how Bush had trapped the Democratic Party into going along with it. National suicide. Dean was the only outsider arguing against the war and Kerry challenged him on it. I saw then that Bush had effectively neutralized all criticism of the war.

Kerry was the most electable Democrat. How pathetic a way to choose a candidate. The trouble is that the only issue that matters--IRAQ--has been neutralized by a warmongering psychopath. Where's Dean when we now need him?

Bush and the rest of his idiotic wingnuts are going to turn this country into a wasteland.
