That's not very nice.

My brother was helping a friend park a car at crowded Granville Island, Vancouver, and was standing to the SIDE of the car. The friend stepped on the gas and the wheels were turned so the car jumped sideways and my brother had to have several vertebrae fused.

I guess in NZ people don't have car insurance so forget any operations, right. I bet the gov't has a little price list:

Back pain: life time supply of aspirin, 4 jars a month, and the write you a check for $5000.

If you want Vicodin you're out of luck.

If you want an operation go get hit by a car in the US.
