Thank you for the info. I wondered why the 20's prices showed up. Yes, I now understand about level 30. Making it expire back to 10/11 was one of those things that is the right way to handle it, but I hate to assume common sense (its quite uncommon).

Behind the scenes, the system is set up to know what level to return a user to upon expiration of the current level, even though expiration isn't implemented yet.

Pretty darned thorough, eh?

From a guy whose biggest fear is ommission of a WHERE clause in a query, only because he's done it many times. <g>

A question that still remains, is there a way to go from 11(10) to 12?

Is there a 12?

If so, it has no benefits over 10 or 11.

The benefits don't increase until levels starting at 20, and all levels from 20-30 will be treated the same. Access to every feature the site has or ever will have.

Very hard to pay for a vague something in the future

And I don't want anyone to and am trying to make sure people understand that currently, even though features exist that are intended to be available only to users level 20 and above, no such limitations are currently in place. So the only people right now who get any benefit from subscribing are free members who upgrade to a 20 or above account.

Level 30 isn't available to them. Level 20 has all the privileges of level 30. Level 30 is reserved as a discounted way for Levels 10 and 11 to gain access to the entire featureset.

We're going to be pushing subscriptions pretty hard in October with discounts on extensions. For example, Level's 20 and higher being able to add years to their subscriptions at deep discounts. Though I don't expect anyone to subscribe on faith, I think anyone who's familiar with what I've done with iHub, and has noticed some cool features here that never existed on the old site will feel pretty comfortable with the knowledge that if I say we're gaining a feature, we're gaining that feature.

And I don't have to worry about Ignore or anything else I've done on iHub not being possible here. I've done it before; I know I can do it again. On even stouter equipment than iHub uses.
