In order to do that, we'll need to refocus on Afghanistan. The situation there is so bad that Karazai is being referred to as the Mayor of Kabul. I think he is the Prisoner of Kabul.

He finally got out of the city yesterday for a five minute speech that needed major security. Not a good sign that the country can rebuild and hold fair elections when the candidates cannot campaign for fear of dying.

So, the stakes are high, and unless we put more troops and effort into Afghanistan, it will become a cesspool for terrorists again...
