LIAR. You're using Steve Gardner's BIG LIE which has been contradicted by every man on the boat. Yes Gardner killed some innocent people against Kerry's orders. And Kerry wanted him court martialed. That is why Steve Gardner is lying about Kerry to Rush Limbaugh now. Gardner is the only man who served on a Kerry boat who does not 100% support him. No other vets were close enough to the action to judge a damn thing about Kerry. Gardner murdered some people but I dont blame him entirely, I blame the war. Gardner was just over-zealous and trigger happy. But it was the military who gave them permission in free fire zones to "shoot anything that moved". The rules of engagement themselves were wrong. That's why Kerry blamed the policy-makers, as he was right to. If we had free fire zones in Iraq, soldiers would be right to hold Rumsfeld responsible too. Same kind of deal. McNamara now admits how wrong he and the others were. He has confessed and asked forgiveness. Nixon and Colson also apologized to Kerry. Kerry was right.
