I will also take that to mean that we will abandon construction of permanent US military bases in Iraq. I will also take that to mean that after the "election" we will be delighted to turn Iraq over to Sadr et al and when he says "get the hell out of here" we will say, yes sir, consider us gone.

You think we do not want to control Iraq and are waiting for our cue to exit -- we will see.
