No...we had the upper hand on Saddam. All we had to do is continue the pressure and the weapons inspections. Bombing innocents has simply created a terrorist haven where none existed before. And recruited more terrorists in 6 months than bin Laden could in 6 years. Simply stated...The Bush policy in Iraq is a failed policy. I can still hear the administration saying "We'll be able to pay for the recontruction with Iraqi oil money." "We'll be greeted as liberators". How wrong could thay have been? Not much more wrong.
