Whereas Eleanor (remember FDR?) was in the first wave at Omaha Beach, right? Geez, Laz, reaching here a little? 60-year-old mothers of six with numerous grandchildren may have been in short supply in the first wave at Omaha Beach. The far more pertinent comparison is that the sons of FDR and Eleanor immediately joined the military after Pearl Harbor. Contrast that with the 300+ Republican members of Congress and the Bush inner circle, many of them fervent supporters of the Iraq War, not having a single child in military service in Iraq. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. The Bush brats....far too busy boozing and making dumb speeches to bother with ..like...boring stuff like wars.
