Elroy I'm not sure "waffling" is the same as "changing your mind". I have no problem with a man who takes a strong stance and over time, becomes convinced it is the wrong position, and changes. I have a HUGE problem with a politician, like Kerry, who can take a strong position one day then change the next out of political expediency. This playing on the weakminded who have short memories is NOT healthy for a president (Clinton is a master at it, and it leads to such incompetent results as the mess in North Korea). These people are liars and cannot be trusted, even in matters of war.
