I'm way behind on this thread, and don't mean to state the obvious. I put this in the FAQ a couple of days ago; I can't provide a list of platforms, but XP, XP-Pro, Win2000, Win2000-Pro can all adjust the font size by the following means, assuming the user has the requisite equipment:

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, hold the Ctrl key while turning the wheel back and forth.

On a touchpad, hold down the Ctrl key while dragging your finger along the right edge of the touchpad, up and down.

If you have a slow CPU, it may be slow to react, but once adjusted the font size persists for that browser window and windows launched from within it.

Some mice and touchpads have their own utilities for defining these functions.
