our patience ran out

as well it should have

the world is better with SH removed

Let me ask you this...What if it took a nuclear bomb to remove Saddam. Would you now be saying the world is a better place with Saddam removed?

What if it took carpet bombing up and down the Tigris. Would you know be saying the world is a better place with Saddam removed?

What if it took five years and 5,000 US soldiers dead. Would the world be a better place?

Saddam was contained. The proper course of action was to go after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, while working the diplomatic front and putting additional military pressure on Saddam. Inspectors were in country...and that avenue was open for the world to pursue. If they were to continue they would have found out what we now know...Saddam didn't have WMD. He only had WMD programs that could be reconstituted if he was left unfettered. Do you think the world would have let Saddam go unfettered towards developing weapons? Doubtful.

The war was the wrong war at the wrong time. And the plan..."We'll be greeted as liberators", Dick Cheney.

What a bunch of hooey.
