True enough. However, people of his ilk, from Pat Buchanan to further Right, are ideologically committed against anything like a pro- democracy intervention, and his prior bias casts doubt on his supposedly observation- drawn conclusions. He is not making arguments, the cogency of which you can examine, he is supposedly drawing upon observation and experience, which you cannot judge, except by taking into account whatever might affect his credibility. After looking at The Constitution Party web site, I would not trust that he is drawing from experience, rather than looking at things through a strongly held ideology........
