See the Guardian article I posted a few days back. The Brits will not totally pull out but other than guarding the Basra oilfields they have decided not to have any part in Bush's war anymore. It has almost killed Blair's political career. If you know anything about third world war zones, you know only the UN can run elections, and they need utmost security to do so. Iraq's security is in shambles. The King or Jordan announced the other day there can be no elections in Iraq. He ought to know. What else? Are you trying to tell us ANYTHING is going well in Iraq? Try almost nothing. Despite a huge investment and lives lost over there. It all coems down to piss poor planning and mismanagement combined with lies by the Bushies. They are boys who cried wolf now. Nobody trusts them anymore. We need a new presdient to fix this. Only way out.
