Iraq:all about oil: 1. On WMD-Wolfowitz admitted they invaded Iraq instead of NK because NK doesn't have oil 2. Israel says Iran is the big problem, not Iraq. US just sent 500 bunker busting bombs to Israel to use on Iranian nuclear installations (at least it's a threat). The theory goes that Iran is enriching uranium (Iraq hadn't had nuclear anything for 10 years and the admin knew that) which is much more dangerous than simply making bombs. Iran can then give or sell enriched uranium to Hezbollah or whomever it likes. That's the theory or the story or the blame game starting. It's hard to tell what's true and what's setting up Iran to be invaded by who? 3. I don't think that even Bush's nutcase, fundamentalist, hate-mongering, anti-Christ, evangelical, uneducated, whacko hoardes are enough to make Bush go to war for Israel. Oil-sure. Money-yes. Power-absolutely. Israel-no. 4. There can be many reasons for creating the chaos that is Iraq and some or most or all of them can be stupid, senseless, irresponsible and simply wrong. The Neocons aren't just about Israel, they're about American hegemony, militarism and power in general.
