KCBT will start electronic trading Dec. 12 The Kansas City Board of Trade will offer electronic trading starting Dec. 12 on the Chicago Board of Trade's electronic trading platform. The KCBT said in a written release Tuesday that it will offer trading of its hard red winter wheat futures and options contracts on the CBOT's e-cbot platform. The KCBT will continue to trade wheat futures and options contracts by open outcry during regular trading hours. Starting Dec. 12, the KCBT Value Line stock index futures and options contracts will trade only electronically. The KCBT also will start clearing processing services for the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange with the onset of WCE electronic trading on Dec. 20.
