For me the new SI has been a true Godsend. My system just flies. I have had zero problem with spyware etc. Just ran my scans to be sure. I use an array of Norton Anti-virus Norton Firewall Norton Internet Secturity Ad-aware Spy-Bot Spyware Guard Spyware Blaster BO-Clean everything is enabled for auto-protect; possibly the combination of (some of) the above programs being resident in memory with the old SI slowed me down some-Now man it is like greased lightning. I paid for the Norton security suite and the BO Clean (both well worth it IMO -considering how much money I make by using the SI threads etc.) The rest is freeware. Incidently I was unable to install the Windows SP2 update but I think I don't need it. Message 20458629 The auto restore function saved me after my system could not digest the SP2
