Have P166+ w/32megs ram, lots of programs; no DOS games. QEMM 97 loads all 32 bit programs faster especially browsers (I'm currently running IE4 which is a real resource hog); word processors and any graphic heavy programs. Tried all with and without QEMM97. I'll stay with, next best improvement besides going from 16 to 32 megs RAM.
For just about anybody 32 megs is really minimum needed for Win 95.
IE4 2nd preview does all kinds of crazy things to system and QEMM 97 has really helped coping with it ie: lockups or not finishing bootup I re-run QEMM optimize and it seems to straighten out IE4 problems.
QEMM 97 is only MM that will work with Memphis (Windows 98) that according to Microsoft Memphis Readme file. Also Cleansweep is only uninstaller that will currently work with IE4 but it needs to be on system before installing IE4.
