Puhleeze! The problem isn't that good games don't come to the Mac it's that they come AFTER the PC releases. I review games and I can assure you this is an absolute. Look how long it took just to get Duke Nukem to the Apple platform. Look at the top sellers over the last year. The PC releases are ALWAYS first. I can make a LONG list of examples along these lines over the last year. Many arguments can be staged and validified concerning a plentiful supply of Mac software on the market but I am not sure that games is one of them. I am not saying there aren't games for the Mac but compared to PC it lags behind. Here are two links. One of them is the game store for Mac at GT Interactive, the other the same store for PC. As you can see the Mac products are well represented but as expected the PC's is far longer and may continue to be. Of course you did make the caveat that Mac only gets the best games written to it but that of course is quite subjective. Actually the term "best" would be more correctly defined as "the top sellers of the PC lineup."
