Hi Baird,

Declining revenues is certainly an important indicator for RAIN's naysayers. I recently read an article that quoted some geek from Legg-Mason pontifying on how RAIN's market capitalization was comparable to the overcapitalization of Brunswick and other bowling stocks in the 60's and 70's. I tried to find it for your reading amusement but the link must have expired and who knows with luck the dinosaur that was quoted did as well.

Seriously though I'm sure that the declining same store sales has many good fundamentalists hesitating to pull the trigger as well as the other factors we've discussed. And I agree with you that at some point (and in my opinion sooner rather than later) the name recognition/fad factor will start sales heading the other way. The openings this year in So.Cal, London, Mexico, New York, Las Vegas, downtown Chicago, Texas and Arizona will certainly help spread the word on RAIN.

I guess the big question if you're a short-term player is when. I think possibly as early as years end.

Interesting intraday chart yesterday (Tuesday) : Volume relatively light with maybe the largest trade 5,000 then boom right around noon a 100,000 block and nothing much again for an the next hour. Then around one the volume and the price rose pretty steadily through the rest of the day til the close but nothing bigger than 20,000 share traded. Someone is/was accumulating or maybe RAINs selling more puts. Maybe a new COO will be announced soon. Maybe the moon really is made of green cheese.......

Regards,
Dennis
