OT - As an add on to your post it is amazing how little the success in Afghanistan is mentioned in the media or SI. An outright hostile regime to the Western World and more so to the US, a cradle of masterminding massive terror attack against the US was eradicated. Further no one is pointing out the fact that a major focal point of hostility with substantial potential of nuclear war was pacified with substantial contribution and under the watch of this administration, let alone giving credit to this administration. Pakistan and India are talking peace and not war and terror attack, as it was under the Clinton administration. Further lot of Islamic fundamentalist lost influence and power in the Philippines, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other countries which do not make the daily news for a simple reason they live a relative quieter life, going about their business. substantial economic and political mistakes should be mentioned with correct policy judgment and substantial achievements.
