<Must be why people actually risk their lives to get here....> The military do not get a choice in this -- they are given orders by politicians like Bush and by bureacrats like Rumsfeld -- and yes, they might die of these orders are followed, but they do not weigh the value of the action in the face of a direct order. Many in the military did and do oppose this war as an illegal and poorly conceived action, but that is another matter.
