It is not just he left early, it is how he left. He basically deserted his crew. He was only in-country 4 months when he pulled a fast one, and left for a plum assignment in the United States and got credit for a full 12 month tour. I have asked many times for the names of personnel who were in-country for less than 8 months and got credit for a full tour. To this day, the only name on the list is loppy and he was only there for 4 months. Only one veteran out of 2,500,000 bugged out the way he did. Kind of strange that some loppy lovers mentioned medevac & kia who didn't complete full tours.
