So those of us that paid for a lifetime subscription prior to Bob and Matt acquiring SI will not have access to features we used to have access to?

Yes and No.

I could swear I've said this before, but maybe it got buried in a larger message. Wouldn't be the first time. So this time I'll only address that one point.

Any feature that was available to grandfathers/lifetimers when we acquired the site AND that still exists on the new version of the site, will remain available to grandfathered/lifetime accounts.

Some new features that have been added and will be added that the old version didn't have, will not be available to those members without an upgrade to "Premium-PLUS". Among currently-available features, this includes the ability to search PM's, the ability to read message batches larger than 10, and the ability to step through an individual's messages regardless of the board to which they were posted.

These extra features are be available to Grandfathered/Lifetime members with an upgrade to Premium-PLUS (currently $19.95 per year) and also are part of the Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual subscription packages.

I'm trying to see what I can do to make Portfolios and either SI's old charting system or a comparable one available to users. I don't know if I'll be able to yet and if I do and the cost of providing them is substantial (the cost of my programming time doesn't count), they will be offered only as ala carte items not included as part of any subscription package. So, those two items, IF they become available, will be the only ones the site used to have that lifetime/grandfathered members will not have free access to.
