The situation in Asia is changing. Pandemic's cycle in and out because conditions have to be right for a major pandemic. The right conditions have to do with how many potential victims have immunity as well as the genetic stability of the viral reservoir.

In recent years, things in Asia have become progressively worse. Whether this is related to a not very efficient animal vaccine or simply a natural instability that will stablizes after enough tagets are removed, remains to be seen.
