We were not bringing democracy to them...they already had it Hirohito and the military government in Japan weren't a democracy. I'm not sure Japan ever had a democracy before we installed one. Hitler's government could be desribed by many words, but democracy is not high on the list. Kaiser Wilhelm a generation before him did not preside over a democratic government in Germany either. When, exactly, did Germany and Japan have a democratic form of government?
