OT - in this world there is no perfection and all is relative.

...and BTW who is celebrating ? not me. my point was that there are also some positive achievement not total victory, and credit should be given were deserved.

We were able to move the battle field out of the US borders which is a major achievement. HOw would you feel if rockets would be launched several times a day into San Diego, or Corpus Chriti from international waters?

Keep in mind that the Twin Tower were also attacked in 1993 the terrorist act just did not succeed as the explosion was to weak to topple the towers.

But if the same van would be packed with plastic explosive or there would have been 2 vans placed at more critical point the twin towers would have toppled and taking with them much much more casualties, as I heard estimates of over 50,000 people working there.

I am no fan of Bush and his "mentors" from the Carlyle Group or Snow or Powell or AG and many other members of this administration. Yes he nade some good choices with others.

But all this said what has Kerry to offer? A trial layer as an Vice President? he would inflict more damage to the US economy than you could imagine.

IMHO those election are a very sad event in US history
... and I am not voting as a protest
