mike, mu had 3 weeks of inventory (25% of the q's sales) held over from last q. do they need to sell this inventory (with its higher associated costs ;-) before they sell inventory made at lower costs?

or, is this where the sharp pencils come into play?

when will they have to write down inventory? did they ever write up their inventory? or, are things so dynamic that it is not practical to write down inventory? heck, when have they ever written down inventory?
