Really, the clock thing was pushed by the Bush camp? I sure did notice, Mark, that Kerry was aware of the time constraints, managed to rebut or state his main points in the available time, and then he wrapped up with succinct reiterations. Bush hemmed, hawed and at one point, said I already told you my view - leaving 29 seconds of his rebuttal unused. It was as though he didn't know what Kerry had just said. No surprise. Tom Brokaw clearly thought Kerry had won. Even Tim Russert could not disagree.
