Based on your reply, I assume it's safe to say you lied or
were ignorant of the facts when you asserted.....

"At the time the war resolution was passed it was nebulous as to what would happen to enforce the resolution. Like the sneaky politicians they are, the neocons inserted laguage that could be construed as an authorization to go to war. Bush and the neocons rammed the war down the rest of the UN memebers' throats.".....

So now that the facts proved your assertions to be utterly
baseless, you change the parameters of the debate yet
again.

You said, "So I guess that explains why there was no second UN rsolution. That and the fact that it was not possible to get one passed."

Apparently you are seriously reality & fact challenged.
I'm starting to think it's intentional. You can't honestly
hold such firm opinions, yet be so completely ignorant of
reality without an agenda or a cult like adherence to a
political ideology IMO.

The French said they would veto any new Resolution. Russia & Germany expressed serious concerns about a new Resolution authorizing force.

The question is WHY? The answer is their corruption &
duplicity because they took bribes from Saddam & illegally
sold weapons to him at HUGE profits in violation of UN
Resolutions they voted for. They had billions worth of
extremely lucrative contracts granted by Saddam with the
implicit understanding they would support Saddam against the
UN & the US. Don't forget the billion in debts owed to them
by Saddam.....

Feel free to ignore those real facts

Paris and Moscow, for their part, were bitterly opposed
to the sanctions and had no interest in pushing
investigations that could reveal deep involvement by their

Had the administration merely "followed the money", it would have found Saddam Hussein's courage proportionate to the oil money he was skimming off Oil-for-Food. Matching that were the motivation for French, Chinese and Russian recalcitrance on enforcing UN resolutions concerning Iraq.
