I watched a 1/2 hr. interview of Paul Van Eden on ROTV at 1:00 p.m. today.
He has his own newsletter out of Washington and writes regularly for Kitco.
He presents himself very well and is a calm cool logical presenter.

He Says:

He follows Richard Russell as an economist and has very high regard for Russells opinion.

He believes strongly that the US economy will capitulate based on bad underlying fundamentals and the indexes and the dollar will suffer greatly going forward. Gold will be the beneficiary and gold and the Dow will cross.

He sees MUCH higher gold but I don't believe he discussed time frames.

He believes silver is a commodity and not money unlike gold. He says silver will be less impressive than gold but will follow gold up but less impressively. He says however, that at some point, silver will do major jumps as gold increases. He can't see buying silver stocks and would buy bullion since it is volatile enough, why hold silver stocks. Play the bullion.

He does not buy producers ( Barricks and Placers ) but wants the much better leverage with the Jr.s and exploration.

Answering a phone in question, he hails the Navidad discovery as excellent but the fly in the ointment is the Aquiline lawsuit. He says "buy both" and you will do well with both.

His three top picks are Miranda, Radius and Altius.

Miranda MAD.v .... best team of that he knows ...exploring Nevada and he feels it has great promise.

Radius RDU.v......Grass roots discoverers, good cash...Central America.

Altima ALS.v...smart management...find something interesting and then use others money to explore it. A bonus is that they also have vast holdings in central Labrador for Uranium.

He owns all three co's. and has been in on seed money from what I understand.

Cheers
