Good point. Kerry has now had the chance to stand up next to the President of the United States and speak for his share of a ninety minute performance. People are forming judgments on what they actually saw and heard. Before this it was much easier for outside forces to form people's opinions. Not as easy now for ads to do so. He is a "real person" now to many people who had only seen imagery before.

For Mr. Bush, the opposite is true. Some the better parts of his "real person" identity have been replaced with images of the Alfred E. Neuman, "angry", "irritated", "unprepared" adjectives being tossed around so loosely today.
